Faralya Art House organizes the following activities:

Dance and music
Once a week we organize an evening with live music or an Oriental dance night.
In the mornings and early afternoons we will respect your peace and quiet. When we play music it will be jazz, blues, Latin American, avant-garde or romantic music. We have a collection of over 30,000 musical numbers.
For house or disco music you will have togo to Oludeniz.
If you prefer silence, you can go to our camp area, which is a music-free zone.

Lycian Way trekking tours
We organize various one-day Lycian Way hiking trips:
1. From Kabak to halfway Faralya (the watermill);
2. From the watermill halfway Faralya to Ovacik (the starting point of the Lycian Way);
3. From Kabak to Alinca.
For those interested we also organize trips of more than one day: from Kabak to Patara, with one or two overnight stays.
We would recommend you to contact us by e-mail if you plan to come to us with friends and would like to do this.

Butterfly Valley tour
We walk down the mountain into Butterfly Valley and stay there a couple of hours to walk in this magnificient spot or to enjoy the beautiful beach. Then we go by boat to Oludeniz, where you can do whatever you want for a couple of hours. By the end of the afternoon we return to Faralya Art House.

Fethiye, Kayakoy Culture tour
We show you all the archeological and cultural highlights of Fethiye and Kayakoy. Kayakoy, an idyllic little village is especially interesting from an archeological point of view. Its houses seem to have been glued against the mountain. Some seven hundred historical houses and temples are still in existence and can be visited. The houses have the look of having been deserted abruptly, which, indeed, is what happened during the big deportation in the 1920s. Locals often refer to Kayakoy as the Phantom Town.

Swordfish tour (minimum number of three persons required)
You will join a local fisherman on his boat for a whole day and will be able to see how swordfish is caught. Swordfish here can weigh over two hundred kilograms!
You will enjoy a barbecue lunch on an idyllic, small beach that can only be reached by sea.

Mountain climbing
Faralya has superb, high, steep mountain sides that are ideal for climbing. An experienced mountaineer will help you with your first steps into mountain climbing.
If it makes you feel safer, there is also the possibility of taking a boat to the foot of a mountain and climb it from the sea.

Horse riding
At the moment we only have one horse, a donkey and a mule at our disposal, but we are doing our utmost to create better facilities.

Painting
Faralya, Kabak Beach and Valley are so undescribably beautiful, that the desire to try and catch this beauty in painting may very well arise even in those who have never had any aspirations with regard to painting before. We are in contact with various artists (graduates of the Academy of Arts) who can help you with your first steps on your painting path.
